Woodwing Publishing Platform -

 

Single Issue App: Woodwing has also developed an eMagazine Reader App for the iPad and another one for Galaxy. Developed in Xcode environment, it is named as a single issue.

 

 

Kiosk App- App Kiosk or the multi issue App supports the fly download of further issues. The reader App is able to interpret XML packets with its pictures, videos and music, and to make it look like a real magazine on the end users device.

 

Content Delivery Server - Woodwing’s Content Delivery Server, from where it can be downloaded as a new issue into the reader app.

 

Content Station - Woodwing Content Station helps the layouter sorts the dossiers that each containsan individual article into the sequence appropriate for the final issue.

 

Digital Magazine Server Plugin - The InDesign Plug-in “Digital Magazine Tools”

supplements interactive elements to the layout designer.

 

Enterprise Server - It hosts the media assets, such as text, pictures and video, as well as the layout information.

 

Ad Server - Media assets, such as text, pictures and video, as well as the layout information can be hosted on Woodwing Enterprise Server.

 

News Agency - Journalists edit text via InCopy, Illustrators provide graphics and pictures and graphic designers prepare the layout via InDesign. Pages, pictures and text are collected via so-called Dossiers.

iTunes - iTunes is used to transfer or sideload the Kiosk APP or Single Issue APP to the Reader APP installed at the end user’s handheld device.

Vjoon K4 Cross-Media Publishing Platform

 

 

K4 Server - The core component of the Vjoon K4 Platform is the K4 Server with its Database. The K4 Platform can be administered via Administration Client.

K4 Overview Server: K4 Overview Server, a client software, it is possible to monitor the progress of the iPad issue and to provide instant feedback e.g. with “sticky” notes.

 

K4 Web Portal Server - K4 Web Portal Server automatically launches the appropriate plug-ins according to the selected task and preferences settings.

 

K4 Web Editor - The K4 Web Editor lets you capture native content as HTML Snippets for Web Publishing also use K4 Web Editor HTML to work on manuscripts or drafts that you can convert to Incopy Documents later.

 

K4 Layout - K4 allows users to create any number of text variants for multilingual brochures, different regional editions, various packaging information on personalized printed details.
